Cancellation policy

This cancellation policy applies only to direct bookings made with La Casita de Cloe through this website or the accommodation’s direct channels. Bookings made through Airbnb are not governed by this policy, but by the terms, cancellation policy and payment system applicable on Airbnb.

For direct bookings, no charge is made at the time of booking. The guest must provide a valid card as a guarantee, which may be used to apply the charges предусмотренные in this policy in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.

1. Cancellation by the guest

  • Cancellation will be free of charge when notified at least 14 calendar days before the check-in date.
  • If cancellation occurs between 13 and 7 calendar days before arrival, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged to the card provided as a guarantee.
  • If cancellation occurs less than 7 calendar days before arrival, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged to the card provided at the time of booking.

2. Change of dates

Any request to change dates will be subject to availability and the express acceptance of the accommodation.

A booking change will not be considered confirmed until La Casita de Cloe expressly accepts it in writing. A change does not in itself suspend or alter the cancellation conditions set out here.

3. No-show

A no-show will be considered to have occurred when the guest does not arrive at the accommodation on the scheduled date without sufficient prior notice or does not complete the procedures required for access and check-in.

In these cases, 100% of the total booking amount may be charged to the card provided as a guarantee.

4. Early departure

Early departure at the guest’s decision will generally not entitle the guest to a refund for unused nights, unless expressly agreed in writing by the accommodation.

5. Cancellation by the accommodation

If, for reasons attributable to La Casita de Cloe, it is not possible to provide the reserved accommodation, the amounts paid by the guest will be refunded.

Where possible, an alternative accommodation of similar characteristics may be offered, and the guest may choose either to accept it or to request a full refund.

6. Force majeure

There shall be no liability for cancellations or impossibility of service due to force majeure, unforeseeable circumstances or unavoidable events beyond the reasonable control of the parties.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with consumer regulations, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to tourist accommodation bookings contracted for specific dates or periods.

8. Communication of cancellations

Cancellations must be communicated in writing to the accommodation’s email address or by the means indicated in the booking confirmation, and it is recommended to keep proof of sending.

9. Relationship with other conditions

This cancellation policy forms part of the conditions applicable to the booking and should be read together with the Booking conditions and the House rules.
